Aeropress Cyprus
This is the aeropress coffee which we are very excited to present:
Daterra Blossom
Score: 88-89
Process: Natural (dried on tree) + Pulped
Keywords: Jasmine, raspberry, mango, nuts, caramel, honey sweetness.
Sensory: A floral and light cup made from natural (dried on tree) and pulped (semi-washed) cherries. We blend two different processes to achieve a more complex cup with the best of both worlds: high sweetness with refreshing fruit notes. The aroma gives away the floral profile of Blossom - you’ll find jasmine and raspberries. On the flavor, more raspberries but also mango, nuts, and honey like sweetness and lots of caramel in the finish.
Harvesting: Selective mechanical
Drying: Patio + Drum dryer
Screen: 16/18
Package: Penta Box®
Best for: Espresso; Drip
Variety: Guarani
Altitude: 1150
Roasting notes:
The Coffee has a very uneven roast look to the bean because it’s dried on tree process and very small screen size, but those flavors in the cup come across as sweet. The Guarani variety is in the family of Aramosa which is a low caffeine person of Daterra. Its low in bitterness and has the ability to be Jasmine and honey, or a dried raspberry and caramel. Brewing this coffee gives multiple layers which should give the brewer a unique touch to the coffee.
The roast is close to 15% development and the coffee is a 7 day rest for the competition.
Enjoy It!
